[quote=LamboPete;1611400]R is very nice, HOWEVER, you can't even fit a stoller in the back truck area. It's only good for one golf bag....no joking here.

I was going to get the R for the family, wife as happy cause it would be her car.....until we went to test drive it and noticed...damn, can't even put a stoller back there.

If you think Cayenne's truck space is bad, the R's truck is about 1/2 of the Cayenne truck space.[/quo

The Cayenne is a 5 passenger vehicle with "ok" cargo space.
The R is a 6/7 passenger vehicle, if you put the 3rd row down and use it as a 5/6 passenger there is tons of space.
The only vehicles I know of that offer 3 rows and lots of cargo area are the XL american suv's. If you need 3 rows plus cargo then you may have to go for a Suburban/Yukon XL or an Epedition max edition.

Cheers,
Stan

They are both based on the same chassis. I hate the way they drive too, really boring IMO.
I thought the Cayenne/Touraeg shared the same platform--not the Q7?

Eh, man I had to go back to the original post after 5 pages and ask how much do you have to pack into your cayenne in your normal routine? It has plenty or room for a stroller and the accessories for a daily commute. When it comes to weekenders perhaps you could consider a Thule or equivalent. If you are wanting an excuse to buy another vehicle then I would buy a brethren with similar characteristics and consider the Q7. Two cents
