my friends stereo shop opened up my display and took apart the gauges....everything. It ends up that the screen inside our cluster is just a raw 4" monitor, so it would be rather easy to get it to play an input source. I am trying to get him the PIN diagram for the back of the cluster and the back of the NAV system so he can hook up DVD in mine just as it is pictured above. I will keep you guys updated if I find out this is something we could all do relatively easy.

 

Now this is absolutely pimpin'!! Whoa! Terrific setup!!

Let me get this straight, now we can have TVs (or screens) in the sunvisor, steering wheel, dash cluster, dash, head rests... crazy!

That is from Nav-tv.. I checked into about 6 months ago. Moni was supposed to get back to me when they had it figured it. I wanted to add DVD and a TV Tuner to my NAV, and they figured out how to wire a AV button in it. Also you have to add a FM Modulator for sound. Problem is it has to be sent to them and when you tap into the factory unit you can kiss your warranty good bye if it fails.. Unless things have changed I haven't spoken to them lately
