i bought a 04 Cayenne Turbo, love everything about it, but i just noticed today the back windows dont roll all the way down. but i have seen pictures of cayennes with them all the way down! weird maybe the newer ones do, or there is some kit for it? no clue

can some one fill in my blanks!

If you have seen pics of of some Cayennes with rear windows all the way dow and other only 3/4 down.

I would bet the ones with windows all the way down are Euro Cayennes and the America bound ones only go down partially.
I could be totally wrong, but that's what I would assume.

i believe the rear windows that go all the way down are the euro models....north american models go 3/4 down for safety issues.....same reasons for many european cars you can close the windows on your car with the buttons on your key fob but on us spec cars you actually have to put the key in the door and turn it to close the windows...we're much quicker to sue in the us for thigns that are our fault!

oh and im assumign he said your parents have good taste in names b/c his name is vincent too.

i wonder if there is some chip you can put in the car to allow the windows to shoot all the way down i have seen them made for other cars that stop early.

 

The rear windows won't go down because of the space limitations in the back doors if you look at them carefully. They get narrower as you go down that is what limits the window... It's the same in euro cayennes.

 

yeah i figured that from looking at it, just throw me off a lil bit when i see a few pictures here and there with the back windows all the way down.
