Cayenne tires worn in 8000miles...

Hello guys,

I've put 8000 miles today to my 08 CS and front tires are worn completely. Is that really normal? I have the 19" Continental all season tires that came with the vehicle.

The Cayenne eats tires pretty quick, but that seems a bit too quick. 1st set lasted ~11-15K, going on 15K on the 2nd set.

Well the rear tires seem to look ok, but the front tires are worn. I will have my tires rotated tomorrow. How long does the rotation usually take? Can sears do that?

The continentals eat them up reall fast..depending on how you drive your cayenne you can get anywhere from 6k to 14k out of them

I got 10K out of 275/40ZR20 Pirelli P Zeros on my turbo. Just re-shoed with Michelin 275/45R20 Latitude Tour HP and love them. They ride a ton better and they have a 440 treadwear compared to 220 on the Perillis. They should go 20K.

FREE, if you do it yourself .

That sounds a little to fast for the fronts to wear out. You might need an alignment if the wear is uneven. If you have air suspension the alignment process is quite involved, takes a couple of hours to do it right, as it has to be checked both on the normal and lower ride heights. Make sure you take it to a place that has the specs and knows what they are doing.

Dealer will cost more but American Tires probably does not have the equipment to do it to Porsche specifications.
