Hi Alex,

Was that your only exhaust mod or did you also purchase a full exhaust system? Do you have an S or Turbo? And how loud is it while cruising?

Yes Kirby go ahead. I was giggling when you left... Sounds bad ***... I highly recommend folks with Pepper's do this. When I test drove it I heard NOTHING inside the cabin. So there's no extra sound inside... It's just outside, it's pretty wild indeed

Kirby I'll bring the video and we'll do some work tomorrow lol

Very NICE so does it sounds similar to the video on Fabspeeds site? They say there car (in the video) has the free flow mufflers I am wondering how much of a difference it makes. Their video does sound very NICE!

How is the fit? Was it a direct bolt on or did it require any mods?

It sounds close to the video, but not quite the same. Not sure how much the sound will change once the pipes are broken in, if they need to be broken in at all?

The fit was perfect, nothing else needed except the gaskets, but looking at the ones that came off with the stock pipes I would think you could reuse those. The only tricky part is there is one bolt that is very difficult to reach.

Cayenne 2ndary catalytic converter TEST PIPES are the way to more horsepower and torque with Absolutely no negative drawbacks on all Cayenne S & Twin Turbos.

+28HP on Twin Turbo +16HP on Cayenne "S'
- no check engine lights Easy on/Easy off
- system comes with hardware & re-use your stainless gaskets

The rear muffler on Cayennes arent very restrictive.............the power is easily & cost effectively found up front at the 2nd set of unnecessary cats. They are there to make the car a LEV (LEV acronymn for Low Emissions Vehicle), and in addition they make Ultra quiet as all cats act as effective mufflers.

In the next 10-20 years I would bet that auto manufacturers would strat adding catalytic converters in multiple gangs "one after another" as they would make the cars even quieter...........some Subarus now have 3 cats on one 4 cylinder engine.

Have a great day
Joe

There are 4 catalytic converters (2 on each exhaust bank) 2ndary Catbypass pipes on any CAYENNE "S" or Cayenne Twin Turbo will NEVER set of any check engine light and the car will pass CA emissions testing. You will pass tailpipe dyno smog testing no problem.

Technically you should'nt remove any cats on any car.............. you are not supposed to touch anything UNLESS it fails............so technically each and every 996TT exhaust sold "shouldnt be installed".............nor should anyone ever install Sport cats on any car, truck or US vehicle. We all should have never ever installed catbypass pipes on 944 Turbos, 911 Turbos, 930s........Corvettes Z28s..............

yes and I should goto MASS 3 times a week, shouldnt go over any posted speedlimits, shouldnt have had premarital sex so many times with so many chicks, should have become a doctor like my mother wanted...............yada yada yada!!

LOL
