My sticker was $96K, and I got $3K off the sticker.
Is this a good deal or not really?

what are most paying $$$ off of what the sticker says....or more than sticker...?

seems a little high. I was at the Porsche N Scottsdale and sticks ranged 84-87 (same vehicles at Tucson dealership was 94k) so I think there is a lot of dealer room there.... but even before we went inside he took 3500 off. Im a little upside down in my Infiniti (DD) so I am gonna try to sell private and go from there..

Base price of Cayenne Turbo is 94K. Educate me why you will pick a GTS at 93K? Thanks.

CTT is about 17-20K more when equipped similarly to GTS. My GTS will be about 86K (don't know exact final price, since it is an '09) and a CTT with the same options is 105K. For 93K a GTS would be quite loaded with options. Plus you get the exclusive seats with alcantara and the ability to get a 6 speed manual. The 2 models aren't really all that close in price.

Thanks. The alcantara seats look very good. Enjoy your GTS!

I always was suprised, why a person who ready to pay 93`00O will not pay 105`000... k mon, this is not avery big difference. I understand when people buy S63 but not S65, there is like 50`000 difference!!! but 20`000, there 20`000 there... U are still very lucky, in my country GTS cost 200`000+ USD, and I payed for my cayenne turbo 270`000 USD, for SL55 AMG 2008 I payed 300`000+ USD.

Hi Eurorus,

Great collection you got at a high price that you paid! Are you really 20 years old? I was just collecting toy cars when I was 20...

Equally optioned = $500.00 a month more for the Turbo. In my eyes
not worth the premium for a car that hauls the family around...and that
I only drive on the weekends. Not to menion the GTS has nicer seats that you can't get in the Turbo.

$89K sticker, dealer is discounting about $6500.

I personally opted for the GTS over the Turbo, for a few reasons.
#1 I wanted the sport seats
#2 I wanted the lowered ride of the GTS when compared to any other model
#3 For a similarly opted Turbo I was about 119K not the 96K for my GTS

My sticker had PDCC/ nav/ 4 zone, rev camera, automatic and a bunch more.
I am guessing the ones you are referring to were fairly stripped for that price.

who knows maybe just great deals.

Very similar story here, if you load up a CTT with options (pano and PDCC, 21" wheels.......) you quickly pull away from the price of a similarly equipped GTS. Our GTS had an MSRP of $91k and a equally equipped CTT would have an MSRP of ~$114, not sure $23k diff is very close...... Now, if you compare a base CTT to a loaded S or GTS you're right why would anyone even consider a loaded S or GTS but. How many base model CTTs are sold? Further, I too like the lowered ride height and the sport seats of the GTS without having to do an mods.

Pugman, could you share approx. how much the dealer was willing to negotiate on the 09 GTS? I'm interested in the same and am in the chicago area too so wanted to see what the market is like.

Thanks in advance.

The GTS will be my 6th vehicle from the dealership (first Porsche; others were MB) and I got a good deal. I'd prefer not to post it on a public forum. They've been really good to me over the years: sometimes huge discounts, but also I've had to pay close to sticker other times (like when I got an SLK when they were in short supply years ago).

If you are willing to take an '08 (which I would have, but 6 speed man/Nordic Gold/Havanna Beige with my chosen options wasn't available), there should be some good deals. There are quite a few 08s in the region, so I would think you could get 6% or more off. But I don't think you'll get a big discount on an 09 until the 08s are gone.
