GTS Red

I know color choices are very personal, but what are your opinions on GTS Red for an '09 Turbo S? I guess I'm just a little tired of black, grey and silver and don't really like anything else.
I saw an '08 GTS in red at my dealer recently and I liked it a lot more than I expected to, but I'm not sure I'm ready to pull the trigger.

GTS red is a great color--a really classy red that looks much better in person. Online and in print it just look like "red," but there is a depth of color that looks much better in the real world. I don't think you would regret the choice. I had a similar dilemma when I ordered my new Cayenne GTS. Didn't want the usual black/white/silver/gray. Almost settled on olive, but thought it looked dull when the weather was overcast. So I narrowed my choice between nordic gold and GTS red. Gold won out for me just because it seemed so "out there" and suited the GTS's aggressive nature. But for the Turbo S, I probably would go with red.

The thing I find somewhat annoying about people's color choice is that they put too much into the notion of resale value, rather than what really pleases them. Face it, we're all going to take a bath when it comes to resale, so why not just go for the color you like?

Whatever you decide, most all of us will be envious. The Turbo S is going to be mid-bogglingly brilliant.

Pepper needs to be red. plus if it's a fast one it's even better.

u might get tired of it sooner than black, grey and silver but u won't get bored when u get it.

The way I seem to "get tired" of cars, I can't use that as an excuse...lol. Thanks for all the comments.

Red - only two SUV's that can pull that off. BMW X5 4.6i and 4.8i (E53) and Cayenne GTS.

Interesting comment Alpine. I had an X5 4.6 for a short time a few years ago...it was Imola Red. I actually think the GTS Red is a nicer red, it seems a little darker.

copasetic222 - I agree the GTS red is a richer red. But the X5 4.6i or 4.8i pulled off the Imola Red pretty well. It takes a special car to pull off reds and the GTS pulls it off very nicely.

Can you imagine a RR Sport in Red?

red is a great color!! I saw a nice nortic gold driving the other afternoon.
I was debating between those as well, but I opted for the silver. Can't go wrong with my choice of a color.
Plus it's not AS eye catching to cops and others, as those bold colors.
But I guess every car 100K is eye catching to a point.
