How often do you use Tip?

I am practicing my Tip skills since this is my first Tip. I have always owned Manual trans Porsches. Just wondering....

Hardly ever here, sometimes I use it to downshift without braking, or at a stop light I'll tap it into 1st to get a quick jump

Yup, me too Kevin. I've never used Tiptronics much -- had an Audi with tip once and never used it. It's not the same as a 6-speed in any way, IMHO using it as a tip is just a way to keep from being bored...

I do use it at stop lights if I need to pass someone to switch lanes or something, so I start off in 1st instead of 2nd, but thats about it. Or sometimes if going down a steep hill slowly...
