Question Considering upgrading the 20" wheels on my CTT for 22's..How is the ride on 22's?

I'd like to upgrade to 22's but i'm concerned that the ride will suck. I did this on my X5 and it was horrible. I pulled the 22's off within in a week and went back to 20's.

Has anybody here made the switch? How is it?

Thanks!

J

Keep in mind that I'm not a luxury guy at all so as far as comfort.... who cares..

I've lowered and have 22" on my Cayenne... I would do it again...

If you are a particularly sensitive driver and expect the quality you pay for, I would bet you would not be happy with the difference in the ride. Your past experiences have proven thus, and i highly doubt this will prove much other wise. IMHO

I think you might be right..I've decided to have my SportTecho wheels painted instead of changing them for 22's.

Cheers

wife drives on 22 inch OZ's. she had them on for 2 years now and likes the look and the ride. i've driven them in the snow and they're steller. i have all season yokohama's on them too. ride is pliant and turn in is better.

had 21's stock on my GTS, and the ride is what it is. But my winter setup on and the ride was sooo smooth it was as if I was riding on a cloud.

I can't imaging that much of a difference if I moved up to 22 from my 21.

must be something worng with your cars...LOL

Been a 20 inch faithful for awhile... all the 7 cayenne's I owned I never wanted to go 22's..

finally decided since I got a good deal on the techarts..

Should've done it long time ago.. no regrets must be your tire pressure, alignment and balancing...

Freeway I always have it on loading level comfort settings, I never use normal level... on drives i set it to sport..

Even wifey never tells the difference..

That's B.S you are definitely changing the configuration of factory settings thus impossible for the ride to be the same.................
