Thicker 2 tone steering wheel

Hi guys,

Is it possible to change a steering wheel? Mine is currently the normal black. I want the thicker 2 tone (black/chestnut) steering wheel.

I am hoping that it's possible to just change the wheel without the entire steering column etc...

Call or email Suncoast Porsche - they can get it for you. You will probably need the VIN of a vehicle with the option you want. Suncoast might have one to use or you could post here to see if somebody will let you "borrow" their VIN.

Excellent thanks sparkhill. I'll manage for the VIN. Will try to find a car for sale that has the steering wheel i want. Not sure if it will be easy. I'll email Suncoast. I am sure they'll find it.

I would reccomend the TechArt Steering wheel.

We can customize it to whatever color combo you would like with whatever finish

PM me for more info...

I don't think the wood wheel is heated. Is the TechArt heated?

in any wheel besides stock, or OEM Porsche wheel you LOSE heat option.

I love the look/feel of the TechArts but yes you will lose heat.

this is what I was quoted before: maybe deals are better currently.
The TechArt Steering wheel in leather MSRP is $2150 and a $600 refundable core charge. YOUR PRICE is $1800 and a $600 core charge.

They offer two different variations of their steering wheel. A Large, and a Medium. This basically refers to the thickness of the steering wheel.
These are the Large steering wheels.

I found this company in Dallas...Much better than spending close to $1000.00. Only draw back is no steering wheel for a few days...

Hi,

Thanks for your inquiry. The cost to recover 05 Porsche Cayenne S steering wheel with extra padding is
- Wheel $279 (include 1/16" padding)
- Shipping $17
Turn around time about 2-3 days.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions.
Thanks,

Don Le

for whatever it's worth, the cayenne S I had the heated steering wheel was worth zero $$$ to me. Hardly heated up. Took it in to check out and they told me it's working as designed.

What works as designed is the BMW heated steering wheel. I love the seat heaters and the steering wheel over heat in my face any day.
