upgrading to rims from 18 to 22-----

time too ad some bling to the 2005 cayenne s---i know ride will be harsh but the rims look so sexy---------

tire merchant recommends tires 265 35 22

should i go with this or what is a better size

those tires sound a bit narrow.... depends on how wide the rim is?
285/35/22 is usually standard for 22's

Thanks. The rim is 8.5 wide. The tireguy says that 285 35 22 will throw the speedo off

thats a narrow rim
tire width sounds about right then

what wheels are you looking at?

it is also availabale in 22x9.5---will this be better for the cayenne s and if yes, what tire would be recommended

sorry to be negative but why would would you choose to loose SO MUCH performance on looks alone?

+1...looks very cheap and too bling for me. but then it's your car. i'd stay away from it.

Don't think they will suit the car at all and they look very cheap. 22" wheels are ok on the primary ride but do affect secondary ride (i.e. broken surfaces etc.)

295/30/22 or 285/35/22 would be a better option for the tire choice - see some pics below
