She can finally breath..Bypass pipes

First I want to give a big thanks to the guys at Fabspeed for hooking us up on the group-buy for the bypass pipes. They really gave us an awesome deal even better than i imagined and they were super easy to deal with. I ordered the pipes last friday and they came in wednesday. The bad part i had to work the next two nights so i had to watch them sit on the floor instead of on the truck, man that was torture.

So i finally got them on today and was it an adventure to do. My problem i ran into were the bolts on both 3 bolt flanges were almost fused on and I could not get them off no matter how much WD40 or torque and beating. So I had to take it to a muffler shop to plasma cut them off. In doing this they had to cut the second cat to pieces and risk messing the flange on the first cats up just so they could get to the top bolt to cut it off. All in all it worked out fine, these guys had done work for me before and they came through again.

Well with all this i figure no going back now and I couldn't be happier. The pepper should come like this from the factory. The exhaust tone is so sweet. No resonance at all almost as quiet as factory while cruising, but when you open it up it comes alive. They sound even better than i imagined. DEFINATELY recommend the Fabspeed Bypass pipes you will not be disappointed.

I also got my bypass pipes from Fabspeed today and had the dealer instal it on my GTS immediately. I have to agree with Imports, this is the way they should come from the factory. Sound is so good when you open it up! Thanks for the group buy Fabspeed!

These pipes are a must for Cayenne owners. And if you guys think it sounds perfect now you should hear them paired with the exhaust..... ohhhhhhhh so sweet. Makes the hauler sound quite mean.

to the guys with GTS, how's the sound compared to "Sport" mode without the pipes? Also, since you guys installed the pipes, will the normal mode still be quiet?

With the sport button on the sound is incredible, loud all the time, with
sport button turned off, the sound is the same as stock, very quiet, until
you really step on it and around 4k it sounds like it is in sport mode.

In normal mode the sound is that of the stock exhaust, until you
really step on it and at around 4k it sounds like its in sport mode.

The directions fabspeed has on their website are good and not that hard seeing as you don't run into the problem i did of having the bolts rusted so bad that they have to be cut off. You just take off the plastic underbody under the pipes, put a jack stand under the trans and take off the trans brace, then just remove the pipes.
