Black interior on GTS .... too boring?

I have always loved sand / tan / beige interiors. Should I hold out for one?

Has anbody done anything with their black interior (I am buying a 2008 or 2009) to spice it up a little? Nothing bling, just more alive looking?

my 06 has black interior, with painted silver accents. it also has the carben fiber wheel looks nice. Id like to do the macaron center console and grab handles but that some moeny.

Also ive learned over the years black hold up better than any color, at least it does for me.

non-black gauge cluster would give a big difference scene.

Man, that's a gorgeous two-tone interior! Where did you get the gauge cluster?

Are the gauge backgrounds normally black? Mine (used) came with red gauges.

The two tone interior was available for 2006 Titanium Edition only. Beige/Black or Gray/Black interior and the white gauges came as default.

SeattleBum, I know you can pick the color gauges for the new Cayenne, Porsche must have offered that option for your CT.

In the case of the GTS, it's pretty hard since it's very sport-oriented. If you want more life inside, get the tan color. The only way I could think of making some change to the black interior would be to swap the aluminum trim for a wood trim: dark or light (light wood is pretty nice).

dark wood:

light wood (this is a turbo S but it gives an idea of the light wood):

How about a Turbo? I had a 08 Turbo, black exterior and chestnut brown interior. It paired perfectly. I sold it for a 09 Turbo S, black exterior and steel gray/black interior. A whole other league in my opinion as door panels and stitches are matched with seat's inner color. The dashboard's stitches are also paired with the seat's inner color.

I personally hate this seat, it has the same layout as my BMW e39 and I know how they get old.

Me too! These pics were taken from cars.com ... I wanted to show the wood trim. I had those seats in my 08 turbo but the seats in my 09 turbo S cant be compared, simply amazing looking and holds like a mother!

This is the interior I have (this is taken from an old ad on ebay as I was about to buy it but got another Turbo S with same interior, pano roof and steel/black seats, etc ... but different exterior color):
