Potential Spare Tires
I believe some time ago I saw a photo with a Cayenne that had 2 full size spares in the position I have tried to show in the attached photo.
I have either made this up in my head or have seen it. so if anyone has the link to something of the sort please send a link to the photo.
So what I am picturing is for two full size spares to be mounted on either side by some sort of rack.
I am wondering if this exists or if any one could point me in the direction toward someone who might be able to fabricate something of the sort. Maybe some sort of roll cage with a door/latch holding the wheels in place.

Just buy a tire rack bag (2 for $35) and throw a fullsize in the back. Hold it down with a bungee connected to the floor hooks. I did a long trip and did just that. Had my luggage on top of the tire, no fuss, no muss. The tire rack bags are top notch and look great too. They prevent rubber from ever touching your carpets.
It's a Transsyberia Rallye car. It is not what is being sold through dealers as the Cayenne S Transsyberia.
Here's another factory option alternative for a full sized spare.

london is a relitive backwater compared to the USA, but even here i cannot see why anybody would want 2 spare tyres?
unless your serious off roading, there are tyre shops in every town, why limit your space because of the almost unheard of puncture.
in 35 years of motoring i have only had 2 flats.
and my land rover defender challenge off roader has never thrown a tyre.
put a can of tyre weld in the boot if your unsure.
good luck.
