I was lucky enough to have a friend give me a brand new set of TSW Montage wheels as he is leaving the country. All 4 of the wheels are 20x10, 5-130mm bolt pattern..with a 50mm offset.

Question...what size tires should I run on these??? Could I run a 295/40/20 tire? I am afraid that a 275/40/20 tire will not fit properly on a 20x10 inch rim.

I would run a 285 tire although a 295 could do the trick.

 

275/45 will go on a 10" rim. The side walls wont flex at all and they are more vulnerable to curb rash which is what you mean? Personally I plan to get a larger size to put more rubber beyond the rims...that is when I replace my wheels! The fronts are the only ones that dont have rash due to the fact that they are 1" narrower than the rear.

 

Are they chrome? I saw the TSWs on Ebay when I was searching for winter wheels, but all the ones I found were chrome.

The stock GTS wheels are 21x10 with a 60mm offset. Did your friend have them mounted on a Cayenne? I'm wondering how a 50mm offset would look with a 10" wheels.

As far as size, I'd go for a 295 if you can find one that meets your needs.

 

They are not chrome...in Hyper Silver. He had not put them on his '05 Turbo Cayenne.

 

Be sure to post up pics. I liked the style, but the chrome turned me off. I ended up with a set of 19x9 replica GTS wheels. Just need to get some sensors and tires now

Bringing this one back from the dead but... anyone ever try a 20x10.5 in the front? I'm trying to advise a customer on it and looking for some information.

im getting new wheels, the same width as yours at 20x10.0 and am most likely going with the 295/40/20's. my car is lowered 1.4" on h&r springs, and my only worry is that there'd be a possiblity to rub. but now, i'm even wondering if 295/45/20's would work. i'd love to have a set of bfg kdw2's on the cayenne. anyone have experience with the size?
