Picking up my New 2009 Cayenne Turbo S next week....

I'm getting excited. I'm flying out next week to pickup my new 2009 Cayenne Turbo S and driving it 12 hours back home. Should be a fun ride home. Once I get it I will send pictures. Does anyone know if you can switch out the black exterior trim with the original alum. look? If so what would this run me?? I kinda like this better then all black.

You may want to discuss with your dealer prior to picking it up.

I did they said no you cant but I find that hard to believe. Its not a deal killer but i figured I would ask you all. I just think the alum. style looks more classy. Black is more of the GTS style.

Congrat's.

I'd be interested in buying your black trim if you end up swapping it out.

Happy Thanksgiving!

You are going to love the CTTS. A few months ago I flew to Naples to pick up my (actually my wife's) Bentley and drove it back to Pittsburgh. Have a safe and enjoyable trip back. No tickets - very easy to do in the CTTS.

i agree about the aluminum trim. It is definitely possible to change the trim over to aluminum. Members of the forum have done so. The dealer is lying they just dont want to incur a cost before you pick up your car. I would make them do a swap especially in these times they should give in, I got a set of wheels swapped for free when I bought my 09 ctt.

there is like a $2,000 difference in the set of wheels. I still got them to swap the wheels after a $20,000+ reduced sticker price.

The turbo S was a hell lot of fun. Had mine for a year. Even reached a speed of 163. It's a rocket.

Was it an '09 and if so, why did you sell it?

Yes it was a 09. Sold it bc too many cars and had more coming in.

I had the 09 cayenne turbo s, a 2010 rr sc, a 09 g55 (stolen) and a 09 audi. I sold them all. Now have a new g55 and a bent.

I have an '09 CTTS and love it Hve had it for 14 months, which is an eternity for me.
I had n '06 CTTS for a few months and didn't like it nearly as well as the 09. I have the opposite view and don't care for the original aluminum trim. On my '06, which was dark grey, I had a local body shop swap out the aluminum for the black trim. It wasn't expensive, maybe $300 to $400 as I recall.
