Today, I noticed that my tires have no treadwear left and I am surprised because I have only put in 10K miles with this car. I have the 20" rims with Michelin Diamaris on them and I do not skid with this truck. Is this wear normal or is something going on?

 

We have less than 7k miles on our 20" Diamaris tires and are already at the wear bars! My wife drives the car 95%+ of the time, and the wear is even so no alignment or air pressure problems!

 

So does that mean Continentals are better than Michelin then? I really have no idea but this is getting ridiculous

 

hahahaha no skid? BS! I had 13k miles and it was not as bad as yours Jeff

They do wear quickly. It is ok, just more resoning to get Gemballa rims.

 

Mine are almost at the wear bars and I have about 8600 miles.

 

Yep, this thing sure goes through consumables: tires every 7k, 1qt oil every 1k, and 11 MPG.

 

I have 9000 miles on mine. Still plenty to go.

 

ben-do you have a turbo? my mpg on my cs is 16.5 and i have gone thru 1 quart in 6000 miles.
