Then massaged in some WD40 wherever metal touches metal and bent the clip to give it spring action. Made sure the release was well lubricated as well.

To get your lanyard cord unscrewy, simply take a hairdryer and stretch and massage the cord back to its original position. Be careful remnents of your wifes hair is not in your dryer and sparks up when turning it on at your gas tank!
+1 especially on the wifes hair advise

Wouldn't 4-zone mean you have front and rear controls? I have dual zone and can adjust the fan separately for both sides.

Isn't there only one fan motor at the front, so how could it be even possible to have different fan speed for driver and passenger sides?

I retract my statement. Not sure what I was smoking that day but I messed with the fan control again and it controls both sides

what I do to control different speed on opposite sides is use the shut on/off wheel to adjust the speed, usually close lighter side forces more air out of the higher speed side and overall reduce total fan speed. Not high tech but it works

Rear fog lights

Not sure if this is on all the Cayennes but the CTT has both front and rear fog lights that are activated by pulling the light switch outwards. The rear fog lights make your tail lights about 50% brigher so that cars can see you better from the rear. Now that's cool.

Is there a light near the key hole for the ignition? At night, I find myself looking for the key hole for the ignition and had to poke around a few times. (You know, like doing it at night and the girl is not helping ).

I begin to wonder if there is a light for the key hole that is out?

This is for 2005 CTT.

Thanks!

If so, it was/is out on my 2010 Transsyberia from the factory. With all the electronics on this car, one would think that a simple thing like a key light would be a no-brainer.
