this is pretty obvious but something i think is cool.
you only have to give the ignition a flick and let the relays do the rest to
start the car. i try to see how fast i can do it. cheap thrills.

I'm pleased to hear the truck has this auto ignition feature. I loved having that in my Lexus. Just give it a turn then put on your seatbelt while it finishes starting.

Forgive me if this one was mentioned, but my '11 S has hill hold for when you are stopped on an incline. I take my foot off the break and the truck stays still and on the Speedo a little Hold word lights up in green.

That is a great feature I am sure especially when towing something.

I have an '06 Turbo S with enter & drive. When I go through the laser car wash (no brushes just high pressure sparyers) the water spray always pops open my gas filler door. I assume because I have the enter & drive key in my pocket the gas door doesn't lock. I've tried to shut the car off while in the wash but that didn't work either. Does anyone know how I can lock the gas door while I'm in the car?
Thanks

gas door is always unlocked to allow full service gas stations to fill up your tank without you getting out of your car. you just roll down your window to give them cash or your credit card, and they handle the rest, you stay warm...

Full Service gas station...that's a good one. I'm in Ohio. I haven't seen a full service gas station since the 60's. So is there no way I can lock the gas door while I'm in the car?

This is for a '11 Cayenne. If you pull the lever half way on the storage compartment in the middle, you can extend it forward which covers the cup holders but makes it more comfortable using it as a armrest.

This is one of the best threads I've read. The simplicity of it's subject is probably why I've never seen it in all the other car forums I've been active with for years. Being new to my cayenne, this was a great read!

For 2011, if you press and hold the lock on your key, the mirrors will fold.

On the 11 cayenne's you can fumble the key, by partially inserting it and turning the plastic lock mech, an lock out the key receptacle.

You cannot reinsert the key or turn the key receptacle, you are locked out.

To recover you must remove a small access panel on the key receptacle, with a pocket knife or paper clip, then press a small button to release the key receptacle. Then you can reengage the key and start the car.

I am really disliking pseudo key fobs!

It locks when armed, so if you're inside turn it off, press the deactivate interior sonar for the alarm, then arm your car. This let's you sit in the car and have your outside armed, which will LOCK the gas opener and stay shut for you.

Not sure if this has been said of not (9 pages is a lot...)

When you hit "Mute" on the steering wheel when the Navi lady is talking it shuts her up and goes back to the stereo.

(Insert funny joke about how you wish you had this sometimes in real life for "real" ladies )
