There's one I found on Renntech from '07 and it's the worst instructions I have ever read. I'm sure he meant well but not his forte'.

just got mine done at the dealer 2 wks ago. The tech took an hour to do it. I know that he had to remove some of the rear internal panels to get to it. Sorry, that's all I can tell you.

How much did they charge and did they replace the struts for the glass too?

 

it was covered under my CPO warranty. Service manager says it's a known issue with the '04. They did not replace the struts for the glass since that's still ok. If I was to guess on cost, it would be in the $400 range.

 

This is what I don't understand about Porsche, if something is a known issue, why is it not repaired on their dollar?!

 

I was told that the fix doesn't help in cold weather. Anyone know if this is true?
