Just found out today that the control unit for the radio/nav/ect must be replaced on my Cayenne TT. Hoping to hear about anyone that may have replaced their old units in the Gen I Cayenne with a new unit from '09 GenII? Warranty company is paying for the replacement, if possible want to order the new system w the touchcreen and pay the difference. Anybody have any expertise on this issue?

 

they will replace it with the same PCM version
the new PCM 3 is not plug and play in older generation cars to my knowledge

 

you will get the one that is made for your generation, or there is no way for them to warranty THAT one, or anything else associated with it from there on out.
