I will take a look at my receipt when I get home. Walmart simply rebadges a Johnson Controls battery. So does Sears and Autozone. There is a great thread 996 thread on RennTech. So whatever the Autozone size is, that is the Everstart one as well, but cheaper. Comes with a vent kit too.
FYI do not ever use this battery (MTP-49/H8), even it is straight from the Interstate web site. This Interestate battery only got 720cca and is known to have problem starting your Cayenne especially in cold weather.
The correct one to use is Interstate MT5-49/H8, it is a AGM battery with 900 cca and 1000ca.

Actually, if you're not hung up on buying an AGM battery (with a lesser warranty), the correct Interstate battery is the MTP-95R/H9. It has CCA of 850, RC of 180 (versus only 160 for the MT5-49/H8), CA of 1000, and AH of 110 (versus only 95 for the MT5-49/H8).
As a refresher, CCA (cold cranking amps) is the cranking power for 30 seconds at 0 degrees F., RC (reserve capacity) is a battery's minutes of 25 amp output at 80 degrees F., CA (cranking amps) is the cranking power for 30 seconds at 32 degrees F., and Ah (Ampere Hour) is an automotive battery's electrical 20-hour storage capacity at 77 degrees F.
The MTP-95R/H9 is nearly two inches longer than the smaller AGM battery, and obviously both its RC and Ah rating well exceed the smaller AGM battery. I'd say unless you live in a climate where 0 degrees outdoors is the norm, and your Pig is parked outdoors, the 50 additional CCA of the AGM battery are easily more than offset by the much greater electrical capacity of the larger battery.
When I was at my local Interstate store, I looked at both, considered their respective specs, and choosing the higher capacity battery was an easy choice. Fits like a glove in the battery compartment under the seat, too. As always, YMMV.
H9 from Interstate - what we use and recommend here at the shop. Zero problems, the price is right and the warranty it carries - you really can't beat it.
Don't get me started on factory Porsche batteries....
Edit update. The H8 is dangerously too short after attempting to install it. One of the two brackets won't hold it in place and it could slide forward or back a couple inches.
Ordered the H9 for install tomorrow.

I didnt go with the H9 - it costs a bit more, we are not in a cold climate and typically special order.

I have the new Bosch AGM battery. Blue top. Works like a champ. 4 year full replacement and it has no cells or water. Charges really fast and I have tons of Amps, video, GPS.....It's about an inch smaller in length, but my hold downs still hold it well. Just rotate the front bracket a little.
A lot of the battery threads are quite old, partly because the Cayenne goes back a few years now. There is a lot of misinformation, with people saying smaller battery is OK, etc. I learned, after going through a lot of trouble, that a Gen1 & 2 Cayenne definitively needs an Interstate H9. The exact part number is Interstate MTP-95R/H9. Go to an Interstate dealer and get this battery. This is the correct German made replacement that is identical to OEM. It fills up the battery compartment under the seat, as it was designed to, with no room to spare.
