just test drove the Cayenne S today and loved it.
Getting one. spec-ed it out and can't wait to take delivery.
wooohooo. the car is much lighter and the interior is so much better than my previous cayenne S. Really improved in every sense.

I test drove one at pioneer Porsche today and they have a silver and full black leather for sale. The interior is breathtaking! We will be ordering one soon. HUGE improvement over the previous model.

i have to agree the interior is beautiful. very busy looking but very cool. the material use & build quality really puts the previous Cayenne far behind. some details are just amazingly good. such as the solid key insert feel, the quiet power adjust steering wheel, the front seat design, rear seat folding design, the weight difference etc... those are the details that u can really tell the difference coming from previous Cayenne(s) owner.
however, i was a little disappointed with the exterior styling. yes, it looks better than in pics, good sign, but i wish it has more. the lower body trims are unpainted. even on Turbo they're bare. i'm sure it will be painted next year (or even an option now?) but it just looks cheap now. i had a feeling that it looks ''softer'' than the previous Cayenne. i.e. the Cayenne GTS looks better. the new car def needs a bodykit some sort, bigger wheel to complete the look.
overall, Porsche did an above average job on the new Cayenne imo. i just hope that if the exterior styling can match better with the outstanding interior design. i guess life is never perfect!
