review of transmission ECU upgrade

I have a an '04 CTT which has been slightly modded; lowered, new turbos, (700hp). I have always thought in the automatic mode that the transmission responded slowly to throttle inputs.
So, for 500.00, had the transmission ECU upgrade. My review, better, but not perfect. Down shifts occur faster for certain, however not as agressive as I would like.

Who did the program? Does it allow you to start off in 1st gear wihtout laying into the throttle heavily?

Who did the tune? Have you tried disabling PSM for a similar result? What kind of turbos did you put in? Who did the work and the tune for the turbo upgrade? I'm getting ready to modify my Magnum and am looking into putting a set of Garrets in there. Did you have to do internals? What other mods do you have to support the power?

TIA!

Man, you can't post (700 HP) like that here without having something with details in your garage.

I don't give a damn if your a gastrointestinal or gynecological doc, use your head and post the details.

I have been looking for a transmission ecu solution on my 2009 CS. It always seems to be in the wrong gear. Am curious to know who did the tuning.

I like mine the way it is; over time I have come to appreciate saving money that would be spent on mods and getting ready for a new one down the road.

Yes, the Cayenne will launch in 1st gear without mashing the throttle. It also will downshift agressively if you abruptly let of the throttle. I dont have quarter mile times, but my best 0-60 was 3.9 seconds. Not bad considering the heft.
My tuner is a the chief mechanic from a major Porsche tuner that works on the side, so I wont mention the name. However, tomorrow I will post the information on obtaining the transmission ECU upgrade.

Sorry for the lack of details. The turbos are Garrets. Yes, 710 HP @ the crank. ECU upgrade. Minor exhaust modification, not new, just "free breathing."

What kind of garrets? Gt28's 30's etc???? Did you need to do internals? Intake? Exhaust manifolds? What wastgates did you use? TIAL? Custom? etc.... details.. details... I am curious to see how your kit was spec'd out since the only kit readily available is EVO's at 20k+ .... Did you need to upgrade your intercoolers? Did you just go TurboS Cores? Also What did you need to do to strengthen the transmision? Since at this power level I've heard (gemalla article in modified Luxury and Exotics) that they are prone to failure. If you don't know the answers that's fine... but maybe you can tell us who did the work and we can figure it out from there....
