Springs for Cayenne S
Jamy,
You have the H&Rs right? .5 extra drop would be more than enuff reason for me to chose those over others. How do they vary in terms of driving compared to the other two.

Raja,
Yup I got the H&R. I choose them over Techart and Cargraphic for three main reasons. 1st is it lowers the car more, 2nd In terms of price its much more cheaper than techart and cargraphic and 3rd, H&R designs and makes the springs for cargraphic.

h&R it is.
Deetz,
i know u have Techart Springs. How does ur springs compare in terms of ride quality to Jamy's.
I think i will probably go with h&r(s).

Raja: it is the same, can't tell that much difference! they are both good and since H&R is cheaper, you can't go wrong with it.

The Techart springs are manufactured by Eibach, who supplies the stock springs for the Cayenne & Cayenne Turbo. Ride quality is much more compliant with the Techart springs when compared to the H&R. Both will lower the car AND SOMETIMES lower is not better when it impacts the drive line geometry.
Remember that the factory sets the geometry for a specific ride height and when you lower the car you alter the stock geometry and put stress on components you don't think about. That is one reason alignment becomes difficult on lowered Cayenne vehicles.
When comparable items are significantly different in price, there is usually a reason? This is a lesson I have learned and relearned many times during my 45 years of automobile endevors.

John,
i agree with you, but is .5 inch going to make that much of a difference in geometry? H&R is just as reputable as Eibach. I will actually also check the spring rating for the stock shocks.
Any pix of your car?
