How much are you paying below MSRP (turbo or S)?

Been in the market for about 3 months now and have been seeing a handful of USED S's asking about $7K below MSRP so decided NEW would be a better option.

How much have you personally been able to get off MSRP for a new S or Turbo (the wife is okay with the S, but I'm more inclined to go with the Turbo after optioning the S to $99K).

I read a past post on here that someone got $20K off MSRP but he didn't list his total MSRP so its hard to figure out how that happened.

My S optioned out to $99K and the Turbo to $122K so what is a realistic # below MSRP you think the dealer would accept? I know a lot depends on area and options or what not so if you have any recommendations please let me know!

TIA

4 to 6 % off seems reasonable. I would be surprised if anyone got a better deal than that for a custom order unless it is a returning customer who has ordered or bought several Porsches in the past through the same dealer.

Seasonal/inventory dependant.

Find a dealer willing to deal.

Internet sales.

Pre-approval.

Shop around and be willing to travel.

5 to 8% is definately possible.

I was able to get 5.5% off MRSP if that helps. Ordered the S 3 weeks ago with a Nov build date. Good luck!

In the pacific NW region, I doubt very many would have gotten more than 5% off MSRP.

For a 2011 turbo that was an invetory car options to about $124K, the dealer was going to give me $6,500 off to unload it, before October 1, so he didnt have to pay the next month of interest.....

On an order car, he will give me $3,000 off to get the car sold. The build car would be about $127K.

I am in CO.

From what I have seen Turbos are well in stock, I say push for $10k see what happens.

I saw a couple of '10's C63's going for $16-18k OFF!!!

I don't see a bigger market for CTT's than C63's, or am I wrong?

what I heard is that for turbo slots available country-wide they are limited. As for the stock of the Turbo's nationwide, PVT and PDCC in invetory cars are hard options to find. Most just have the PVT, and skimp on alot of the other options that I found myself wanting in the cars.

We checked nationwide, and for me, there was only ONE turbo in the country that had what I wanted, but it was the wrong color. Now maybe they are just pulling my chain, but this is what they tell me, which is why building is my only option. Most of the turbos I could find when dealer did the nationwide search were all around $105-$115K, which sacrifices my main options I wanted.... They are basic optioned turbos. Mountain dealers want the PVT and PDCC whereas others skimp on the adaptive cruise, PVT, PDCC, PANO, stuff like that.

Purchased a 2011 "S" on Wednesday at $5,210 below MSRP which was about a 6.25% discount. Third car purchased from this dealer.
