I feel your pain. My 11 is sitting in customs at Germany. It has been there for over a week. Put it on the boat already...

I expect another 4 weeks or so....

I've not build a CTT before...but no PASM, PTV or PDCC ? Are you going with summer performance or all season tires ? My Cayenne S is a Dec build for a late Jan delivery.

PASM standard. I think Turbo power plus PASM and amazing dynamics are already there and PDCC and PTV aren't absolutely neccessary. Plus I'm already at $114k!!

In my personal opinion, I would dump the skid plates and add the PTV and go 20" wheels!

While there is no question that the CTT w/ 21 inch wheels will be a beast when it comes the performance whats another 5K (on a 114K build) for greater agility at every speed, more responsive steering, zero body roll and additional stability which is what the PDCC/PTV combo will offer. I hope you are getting some discount for your order. The umber/tartufo combo is one of the best in my opinion.

I think the skid plates make the car look much more agressive and overall better looking. I would not take one without these. I also agree that the PDCC and PTV are worth the additional costs. Also once you are paying well over 100k whats another 4k to make it a spectacular built (eg. burmester system).

Congrats on your new car, have you test driven it yet....whats your driving impression?

I had an 04 S which was decent in a straight line but nothing compared to the new TT. I pushed a TT on the 21" turbo II and was completely floored by the performance on windy roads. You can not feel the speed and handling is amazing. I did not notice much body roll pushing it pretty hard on Sport mode and throttle response is stellar. On Comfort, it was as comfortable as our RR and the interior is even more luxurious than our RR.

Because of the amazing and positive experience in pushing the TT around bends, I am debating the PTV/PDCC and just dont think it is neccessary, unless I am going to the track which isn't like to happen.

So how do I wait nearly 5 months to take delivery?!

Agreed on the skid plates, but not yet on the adding another $4k in options!

Wait is the toughest part. Having a couple of 911's in the garage sure helps but the wait is still painful.
