Which Finish with Cognac / Espresso Int?
Have to finalize my build within a day or two and have decided on Cognac / Espresso. I liked the look with aluminum as it looks very contemporary and unique but am considering dark burl walnut for better transition. Thoughts?

I went for the olive wood trim with the cognac/espresso. Provides a nice contrast I think. I am not a big fan of the glossy walnut wood trim... many other cars have cheap fake wood imitations of it... but a friend of mine saw a cognac/espresso with the walnut trim and said that it looked quite good. I also like the stock black chrome option.
Choice of interior trim and colors are so personal, hard to tell...some like the alum, some the matt finish olive and some the high gloss options. I would suggest you go to the dealer with your significant other (if his/her choice matters) and check out each combo and decide for yourself like we did (I have enclosed a picture that we took on that day with a olive trim for the espr/cogn interior. Dark walnut offers the best contrast in my opinion. I thought you said your dealer still doesn't have a build allocation slot for you and now you have only two days left to change your build ? I am not sure I understand !!

Your best bet is probably to check Panameras (and photos), which have some combinations that may be similar to the Cayenne interior. For example, I have seen one with the cognac dash and olive trim.

People say it looks darker in person, I have not seen one. A friend of mine saw a Umber/Tartufo combo and just fell flat in awe. That combo is the best two tone combo for the 2011's. Can't wait for Jace to get his and post pics.
Ok-comptudora, hopefully your dealer gets his act together and tells you things as is... wish you good luck for a Jan build. It is painful, I know. Did you talk about discounts. Please tyr to get atleast 4 to 6 % off MSRP. Do let us know that way the newbies seeking advice can be guided appropriately when it comes to current market trends on discounts across the nation.

Sample usually doesn't tell much. IMO cognac is too old school for me. Tartufo on the other hand seems more modern. And so far it's unique to Cayenne and no other Porsche models.
for cognac, go to MA to take a look:

Ok-computedora, regrettably dealers are known for quoting optimistic build dates. I would strongly urge you to ask your sales consultant to open his online program from the factory and show you both the PO number as well as the factory's projected completion date. I was talking to a couple of dealers in the PNW, 2 % to 3 % discount is the most for a turbo. 5 to 6 % off for the CS. Yours is a turbo and you are in the other part of the country, what discount are you being offered ?
