Can't find what I'm looking for....

Just sold my 997S and want to get a nice used Cayenne GTS in the dark red!! Looked on Autotrader but just found a ton of "S" models....where else would you guys suggest I could look?? Or should I be looking for a Turbo?? Just really like the sporty look of the GTS.

Thanks,

How about ebay motors? There are 4 red GTS's listed right now.

Go with your gut. I've got the Turbo but the GTS has it's own vibe going on.

It's about right. Since the GTS wasn't offered until 2008, it really hasn't had time to depreciate. 2008 was also the launch of the second generation with a larger 4.8L engine, new body style, and more options. You will find more competitive pricing with a 2006 4.5L Cayenne S (note Porsche did not have an official 2007 model).

Thanks,
I just picked up a black/black '09 GTS. You can find a large number if you do a search through the Porsche website under pre-owned search. The price varies tremendously, however, for seemingly no obvious reason. I found some loaded up vehicles with low mileage going for thousands less than "bare bones" vehicles with high mileage. I too was drawn in by the overall design of the GTS which comes with the Sport Design body kit as part of the package as well as the Alcantara roof liner.

Anyway, there are plenty out there, but if you want the darker red, that may limit your options. From 2008 to 2009, the PCM module also changed to the 3.0 version with available Bluetooth and ipod integration as well a completely different Nav program and touchscreen function

FYI....my vehicle has as major options (among other things) the Sport Design 15-spoke wheels, Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control, Bose Surround, Front & Rear parking sensors ( a must in this vehicle IMO). 8700 miles. Purchased for $67k. Traded my '06 Cayenne S titanium edition for $27,000 with 51000 miles.

I have been searching the forums and am getting conflicting information. Is there anyway to get the bluetooth phone options on a 2006 Cayenne with the 2.1 version? My Nav has the Aux and Tele buttons but says that the integration isn't installed. How do I go about connecting my Blackberry to the Nav and how much does it cost?

I think the phone connection on the 2.1 system was an older system requiring a card of some sort and was not a bluetooth connection. Not sure you can connect a blackberry to the 2.1 system.

The one company that may have solutions is www.navtv.com

From my experience, pass on the mods. Buy it exactly the way you want it. Each wiring harness is hand built and replacing one is something you don't want to do. Spend more money and get it exactly the way you want it.
