Importing contacts from Android phone

I had the pleasure of picking up my Cayenne S this past Friday. The truck is absolutely amazing. I'm having fun familiarizing myself with all the features.
My one issue is importing my cell phone contacts to my Cayenne. My cellphone is an HTC Android Incredible from Verizon. BTW I was able to get to the proper menu that displays the Import contacts but when I press the button it just flashes on and off.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

it takes a while to transfer over the phonebook depending on how large it was. Mine had over 1,000 contacts and it took a couple hours.

Do you have to keep the car running to let the process complete or does it pick up where it left off next time I use the car?

My salesperson just e-mailed me back stating that there is an issue uploading contacts from an Android phone. I wish it was as easy as you guys say but it isn't.
He will research it further and get back to me.

Probably a silly question. What is a "hard' sync?

2011/CS I think it's pcm3.1, Verizon HTC Incredible. I still haven't had any luck. One of my co-workers was able to sync his 4G android phones and import all his contacts to my Cayenne. It makes no sense. I'm still waiting to hear from my salesperson.

I think it's a lost clause with the contacts. I have a 2010 Cayenne and my Iphone pairs fine after the radio has been replaced with the new version but not contacts. I was given a Panamera for a loaner while they did the radio replacement and I paired my Iphone 3G with the Panemera and it instantly dowloaded all my contacts during the pairing process. So the problem must have been fixed on 2011's and newer.

That's interesting so the Panamera must have a completely different system in it
