I Just picked up a 04 CTT W/ nav and bose stereo. The disk will not come out therefore the NAV does not work. Plus The volume likes to do whatever it wants. I was wondering if anyone knows of a good replacement double din head unit? or if by chance anyone has there old nav forsale???

 

Try turning off the speed sensitive volume. I have heard of problems with that making volume go crazy. There should be a way to get the NAV disc out. Are you sure there is one in there?

 

I will have to play with the nav to figure out the speed volume control. I have an owners manual for the car but not the nav system.. I tried ejecting the disk and it just clicks. So I thought that there might not be one in the so I tried to slowly put a new disk in and you can hear the nav disk spinning as the other one touched it... So pretty sure the head unit is jacked...

 

well talked to the dealer today and unless anyone has a better idea for replacing the stock PCM, looks like I will be ordering a new one.

 

You can certainly go very nice aftermarket for the price of a new factory PCM. You also might want to try EBAY. Looks like there are about 20 for sale there. I bought one on ebay 2 years ago ... I needed the one with the telephone buttons ... mine did not have them ... and sold mine on ebay for exactly the same price. Worth a look anyway.

DO you have a pcm 2.0 or a 2.1? The 2.1 have dvd the 2.0 has cd.

 

I have the PCM 2.0 and I am very happy you asked cause I was wondering that myself.. and as I went through my CD's to look at them. it so happens that the only disk(1) im am missinng is the one for where i live.. what luck
