does anyone know the rolling diameter of the Porsche Cayenne?

I am looking to replace the factory with aftermarket 22s and wanted to see what is the rolling diameter of the 18s? Please advise.

Also per tirerack, thinking of 285-35-22s for tires.
http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/resul...rSpecial=false

is that advisable?

I am looking to run square set-up, not staggered.
any input would be appreciated.

thanks!

or would a 21 inch setup with 295-35-21 be a better solution.

This will be my wife's car primarily.

cost for 21 with tires and 22 with tires is about the same.

I am just going through the same situation myself
295 x 35 x 21 is a OEM standard size. I am heading in that direction as mine too is a shopping trolley for the wife and think it a better compromise on size

285/35/22 is probably the best size for 22's on the cayenne. There are a number of good choices for tire in that size too. You could do 295/30/22 or 265/35/22 also but there's less sidewall on the 295's and the 265's look small.

255/55.18 is standard,

285/35.22 was my choice,

the 295/30.22 is not ideal imo and YES makes the right size but the 285/35.22 is a better choice because of width, sidewall, and look.. and overall your barely off on the OD.

should we consider that not all tires brands have the same outside dimension/overall height?

per tire rack

295/30/22

Conti Cross Contact - 29"
Michellin Diamaris - 29"
Pirelli Assimetrico - 29.3"

285/25/22
BF Goodrich G Foce T/A - 29.9"
Kumho Ecsta SPT - 29.8"
Pirelli Assimetrico - 29.8"
Sumitomo HTR - 29.9"
Yokohama Parada - 30.1"

295/35/21

Dunlop SP - 29"
Pirelli P Zero - 29.1"
Yokohama Advan - 29"
Continental Cross Contact - 29.1"

FWIW, anything over 20" and you might be sorry; ride gets a little rough.

I'm looking at 285/40/20 which is identical circumference to stock. You can get the /45/ without any errors, but the speedo will read 2.2mph slower.

This may help you:

Rob,

By any chance did u have a white Lambo Countach and live in Ashburn area before?

As for sizes, i had 22s on my Cayenne S and it was not bad at all.
Also, have air ride which is suppose to make the ride a bit smoother.
I might go with 21s since it's wife's car.
