Anyone know what the little light cut-out is for in the spedo? Its all the way on the right at the bottom. Directly below 300km in this pic. Can't find it mentioned in the manual anywhere and I dont think i've seen it ever light up.

 

It lets you know when the flux capacitor is out of plutonium power.

My guess would be it might have to do when you set your speed limits.... ?

might light up when you hit your designated speed/limit...

I've driven my 2011 Cayenne as fast as it will go.... For miles.... And there is no light. I live in Germany - Autobahn!

 

It's a limit that you preset. ie. 20 mph. Not the limit of the car.

Default is that it's NOT set.

its a light sensor to know when to turn on interior gauges and other lighting..

on the dash to right of wheel is another hole for AC temp sensor.

 

cover it up with a piece of paper and wait like 20 seconds and u'll see.. it has a delay also for when you go in a tunnel or something.
