I'll be going with the Upsolute chip soon. I just got the Fabspeed bypass pipes install on my turbo and I want to get a dyno of that before I add the chip.

Reason I am going to go with Upsolute over GIAC isn't because I think one makes more power than the other, but because the Upsolute chip costs 1/4 the price.

I'll post a stock/bypass/bypass+chip dyno when I am done.

Renntech36 seems very happy with his Upsolute purchase:

You should get at least 510 hp from just the chip & Filters

I'm chipped...and clipped

My CTT is fully loaded out aftermarket now. Upsolute a week after I got it (my 2nd CTT, and 6th Porsche turbo total..have chipped the last 4).... ZERO problems..huge improvement. Ask Renntech36... we work together....

I also have lopped off the exhaust at 2nd pair of cats, have CF intake, upgraded dv's too.

great truck..new pic coming soon. black'd out some more.

Hey Jenner,
I have a smiliar set-up with you (bypass pipes and filters). I'd be curious to hear how yours comes out after the insatll and dyno.

How soon are you planning on getting it?

I've read that some people were having problems running the bypass pipes with the chip. Something about losing power when those 2 are combined...

can anyone shed some light on that subject?

As soon as my schedule permits. Right now I am planning on getting the bypass dyno on the 24th and the chip as soon after that as possible. I am waiting for an email back from the local Upsolute installer to let me know if I can get it done on a Saturday.

As for the problems with bypass pipes that doesn't seem to make any sense. Turbos don't want backpressure, esp when you increase the boost!

Either way, I'll have stock/bypass/bypass+chip dyno charts posted showing the gains as soon as I can.

I'm getting it lowered next week and thinking about selling the BBS RXIIs for 22"s.

And waiting for Jenner's upsolute results so I can get it chipped.

I'm working on an automotive fashion issue in the Fall and need to get the rides ready.
