Would you choose the refined 06 model or the first year of the refreshed 08?

Do people notice a drastically different gas mileage with the V6? I know this depends how you drive just wondering?

Same price, both CPO'd, same mileage, which would you choose?

O6 tit s. Big power difference between both cars. Drove a 6 and just was underwhelmed with the power. Drive them both and it will be clear

06. Is gas mileage really a concern in a 500+hp car?

The 2008 base turbo has only a bit less power than the TTS. I would get the updated style since I doubt the power is that big of a difference. If power is the issue just flash the ECU and you have more HP than the 2006 TTS.

I believe his question was regarding an '06 TIT (Turbo) and an '08 V6.. no chip or flash is going to make the V6 more powerful, and since the mileage different is trivial, go for the power.

If you are comparing a 2006 TTS to a 2008 V6, then the power difference is HUGE. I have driven both, no comparison.

It's like a Boxster to a 911 turbo, the Boxster is nice but its no turbo.

TT for sure.

Much more interesting car. You'd probably want to upgrade the base version after not too long, whereas the TT is already one hella fast car and perfect as is.

If it is the difference between an 06 TitaniumS and an 08 Base, I would still take the 06. But I would not pay the same money. I have seen 08 bases going for mid 30's. I would not pay that for an 06 Titanium, just my 2 cents.

thumbs up. And you can request that the plastic cooling pipes get replaced. More wiggle room for negotiating with this one!
