Evoms Air Intake Installed

I didn't find any install pics of the Evoms setup so I though I share my install pics. It didn't come with instructions and for those who might be interested, pics are worth 1000 words

what's the butt dyno say? Significant increase in power? Noise differents (hear more turbos?)

You hear the turbos now. Did get to really test it out fully but it seems to have perked things up.

How difficult was the install? I'm sitting on a used unit waiting for some courage to tackle this one.

Install is pretty straight forward. Hardest part is being careful pulling out the airbox part that is toward the inside of the fender. And pushing the intake duct off the box since it;s in the fender area. But nothing critical.

Funny I just did mine yesterday too.

It's about a two beer job, wrestling the passenger box out and the Evo panels in was the hardest part.

And yes I can actually hear the turbos now. Butt dyno says 5 HP

I have an IPD intake, and will be putting on my cat delete tubes next so it should really suck and blow

How'd you get your engine bay soooo clean?

I use turtle wax ICE on everything BUT the paint on the outside. I don't even clean it first. I buy the big sponges at AutoZone, I cut thin slices out of it and squeeze the ICE on it and wipe away. Once it gets dirty, I throw it out and on to another. Long lasting. No need to re wipe after applying. I use it on the under carriage too when I'm under there detailing things up.

2 hours with detailing things up while the plastic covers were off. If I had to do another one, no more then and hour if no cleaning is involved.

The 2 things that are a struggle if you don't know about them are getting the passenger side air box out and pushing off the duct attached to the box. Long screw driver or something for prying helps. I used my long snap on radiator hose tool.

Installing the kit is easy, one of the best I've done on any ride.
