passenger side flooding

Dear 6speeders, I need your help.

With all the rain in the northeast, my '04 pepper TT is taking on water specifically on the passenger side front floor. I have located an over engineered valve just behind the front wheel and removed it thinking this would rectify the problem. Didn't help, as a matter of fact, now when driving, I can hear a resevoir of water sloshing around which sounds like its coming from the front somewhere.

Any other drainage plugs that can be checked for blockage? Other suggestions would be most appreciated. Thank you all.

Remove the panel under the glove box (1 torx screw, and disconnect wiring to outlets.) Find a 5.5mm wrench (or just use pliers like most people who don't have a 5.5) and remove the screw holding the access door on for the HVAC filter.

Remove filter (good time to replace if it hasn't been done in a year or six..), feel around the bottom of the housing for the drain tube. Try to remove whatever is blocking it. The "over engineered valve" is there to keep bees and other insects from taking up residence in your HVAC system. You might consider reinstalling it after clearing the blockage.
