Bye Bye 2008 CTT

Traded my Blackout 2008 CTT for a 2009 low miles black GT-R.

I wanted a 997TT but i need the back seats to be able to hold a child seat in case my wife cannot get the 2yr old. So that limited what i could get and i really think the CTS-V looks like an old mans.

BTW the GT-R is a blast to drive, may not be the fastest after 100mph but god 0-80 is like a ride at an amusement park.

I got 51k in trade for my 2008 CTT with 44k miles, i left all the aftermarket stuff on the car, wheels, stereo, lowering mod etc. Just for giggles i took it to carmax first to see what they would offer...... $41k....which is what they were asking for an 08 Cayenne S with 70k miles on it.......lol

good luck!

Congrats on thge Gtr. I don't know where you get that the V looks like an old mans car, at least it stands out, not like half the "bubble" cars do nowadays. I think performance aside the Gtr is not the most attractive vehicle going by any means lol. Enjoy the new ride, hopefully the ride quality has improved, might want to purchase a kidney belt...

The ride is stiff and not as nice as the CTT but god it moves.

I've had many cars (M6, Z06, 700rwhp Lightning, CTT etc) and this thing is by far the fastest to 100mph and 0-60's are neck breaking fast.

I know many say the looks (same for cayenne) and i was one of them but i've had the car 3 days and it draws crowds when parked. IMO its very much like my old CTT, looks ok in pictures but wow's in person.

I am not missing the 11mpg in city traffic from the CTT

Matrix,

Can i have your contact # to ask you a few questions about the 08 ctt you had for sale? I am thinking about purchasing it from the dealer and had some questions for you if you don't mind. I was not able to send you a pm due to just joining the forums. If you can pm me, that would be awesome! Thanks, Paul

yea I wouldn't miss that either! I'm getting about 16.5-17 avg and I'd say I drive mostly city with some light highway 45-60mph. It sucks gas at 75-80mph on the freeway I noticed. What the GTR get?
