Just got a letter from PCNA insisting I should go to my nearest dealer to get a free 2005 navigation copy. Woohaa

Jamy: yes they have to reprogram your navigation system, my girlfriend already got her disc. I am waiting for mine

2005 PCM2 navigation DISC

"Before you are able to use this technology an update to version 3.0 of your PCM2 operating system will be required. If your vehicle is equipped with the bose sound package, an update to the bose amplifier system will be required as well."

Jamy what year is your car? My 2004 turbo came with PCM 2 3.0 from the factory, but my NAV CDs are 08.2004

Mine is a 2003. Im pretty sure my PCM version is 3.0. I think they just want to give us the updated copy of the navigation cd since the older version sucked.

Thank god because the version I have is crap!!!! It doesn't have any streets unless you are in a major city. The car has a june 03 in-service date too so i guess its v3.0
