How is the open door indicator supposed to work on this car?
Should I expect the door open sign light up when any door is opened?
Or does it work as a sound for front doors only?
I see an indicator on multi function display whenever trunk is open (yellow outline of sub with trunk lid up), but do not see the indicator when either front doors are open (would expect fort driver door open on the outline symbol, or fort pass side accordingly).

Can someone verify for me?

I could be mistaken but I think the vehicle has to be moving for the door open warning to appear. Open the door a bit and drive slowly for a bit to test it out. I don't think you'll need to be going more than a few mph...

 

I took your advice. started the car while driving slowly open the door. sure enough the door indicator lit up as soon as I opened 1 of the doors. a large display lit up in the middle of the console to show you which door is open. Great. Thanks. the yellow symbol indicates trunk open only.
