heads up display for cars

as anyone thought to, or actually installed some think like this on their ctt? I am curious but do not want to put something in that will look crappy, and am on the fence on this ( like the ctt gauges).
Hooks up to the odb2 port for info.

* Automatically adapt to the model in line with OBD-II (vehicle automatic diagnostic system) plug and play models

* Shows the current speed

* Shows the speed of the engine, representative of light to reach the speed of scale, unit x1000 RPM.

* Shows the current temperature value of the car, when temperature reached 115 degrees automatic red alarm.

* The power of the HUD.

* Auto / Manual brightness adjustment, you can manually adjust the brightness according to their environment, up self-locking to automatic light adjustment, toggle down to manually adjust brightness, automatically save the setting.

* Shift indicator on. When the engine speed and vehicle speed reaches a certain percentage (such as 2000 RPM, the speed of 60KH / H inside), suggesting that shift lights, gear tips to save fuel consumption.

* Power cable with integrated design, full exposure and longer life.

* Tips switch gear. CVT automatic transmission car or cars do not need to use when you can close without prompt, press the 0 shows that off, it shows 1, that open.

* Tips for speeding when the need to use the alarm switch, you can turn on of off, it shows 0, indicating that off, it shows 1, that open.

* KM in the International System of Units unit of general use kilometers per hour.

* Voltage, fuel consumption, temperature V is the voltage, L-hundred kilometers liters (currently unavailable), C for Celsius.

* Miles of flat : Some countries use MPH as the speed measurement. HUD units for the miles you can switch display.

* Speed warning lights : Set off alarm in case of speeding, the speed that light up, and voice prompts.

* Instantaneous fuel consumption. In case of a speed, show hundred kilometers.

* Top speed record : Opened to the highest recorded speed, long press to clear.

* Set the alarm rate : Launched in the automotive state, long press the M key to display 0, you can set the value of a single segment 35-175 alarm : Long press M button to display the 1, then enter the multi-alarm state, respectively, in speed of 60, 80, 100, 120.

* Speed, water temperature, voltage switching : Click in turn show the speed, water temperature, voltage values.

* Automatic light-sensitive

I also see that Pioneer announced that they're going to be shipping one that also integrates Navigation - very cool.

yes, the Pioneer did announce in 2010 a HUD like Navigation, which seemed really cool.
I am waiting for the True3D navigation, and if it comes with HUD interface, that would rock.

What I was asking about originally though referred to HUD for vehicle telimetry, as opposed to nav.

understood on the telemetry but figure once you have an aftermarket hud capability then it's a matter of deciding what to pump through it. meanwhile, that video of the NAV is off the charts!

HUD is a great way to make it look like a 1989 Pontiac GTP

I honestly thing it would be a bit annoying. The cayenne is already a bit over the top as far as information on the screens! Do I really need the time to display in 3 spots?!! The speed is already in 2 forms.

You forgot temperature - how many outside temperature displays can you get at the same time? (Quiz..)
