Well, there is the problem!! There is no such thing as "locking it into the highest setting". The highest setting is only good up to 18mph, then it drops to the second highest setting, which is only good to 50 mph where it drops to the middle setting. At 80 mph it should drop again to the low setting, then all the way down at 130 mph.


So if you were strapping the Cayenne down with it lifted up al lithe way, it will start dropping down and loosening the straps as soon as you cross those mph thresholds.

I just had my air suspension locked by holding the switch forward for 10 seconds, as mentioned above. I did this to swap my winter wheels for my summer wheels.

I can confirm that as soon as you drive the car forward, the suspension lock deactivates and the vehicle goes back to normal suspension operation.

This is exactly what I did, so this confirms my problem.

Maybe I'm a little late to the party here, but I dyno at the lowest driveable suspension setting (not "loading" level), with the straps tied to the suspension, not the body, and make runs in both 3rd and 4th gear. Has worked fine on two different dyno machines. Good luck!
