Please HELP track down my coolant leak

I have a slow leak of coolant some where and it has been driving me ABSOLUTELY nuts.

I have a 2005 and it has the updated Aluminum pipes. I took off the intake manifold already and dont see any signs of leaks from up top.

I know I smell it on the passenger side of the engine up front somewhere. I dont see any white residue that would help me find the leak.. any recommedations on where to check while the intake manifold is off?

so I was able to see what side of the car the coolant is coming from. I saw coolant on the passenger side of my splash shield underneath the car. I also saw it on the passenger side fan shroud but I cant see where its starting from. Any ideas?

This happened to me and it was the water pump. cost me 1k or so but warranty covered it. if you are getting more drips on the passenger side and a couple on the drivers side then this is most likely the case.

I haven't seen a Cayenne water pump leak yet, but it is a possibility. I would pressurize the cooling system and see if I could pinpoint the location of the leak that way.

I noticed lost power restored at WOT also. Enjoy your pepper rewarding you after the job is done. I dont know if it was just me but I noticed more power and my MPG went down by .3-.5 so there has to be more power lol. Even drove it like a soccer mom for a week and the MPG was still down.

Nothing like doing 0-60 in 5 seconds in an SUV! I want to get her tuned soon so I can break into the 4 second mark. Have to do the major maintenance soon.... ugh there goes another 700 bux. I do have a lead foot HAHA, But seriously let me know if you notice a drop in MPG and an increase of power after the job. Thanks!
