05 Cayenne PCM unit problem

I got a 05 cayenneS. The PCM unit recently failed. I thought it was probably some wiring problem, and it turned out that I was wrong.

Saw some guy selling his unit which was taken out from a 06 cayenne. The part number is 7L5.035.192A. Mine is 7L5.035.191J.

Can anyone tell me if it fits in my car? Do i need to have the dealer reset the nav unit after replacing it.

I thought my unit failed too. Luckily all I needed to do is hit the reset code 1 4 8.

They should be interchangeable, but you will need to have the data copied off of your PCM unit, before removal, and then coded to the other unit once it's installed. I would try a reset first though if I were you.
