Going to tune
Going to tune
I am looking at ecu tunes for my 05 CTT. Have contacted Upsolute and received an email from head office telling me someone in my area will get in touch. So far, over 2 weeks, no response. Also looking at GIAC and EVOMSit. There is a GIAC tuner fairly local to me, so that is a plus. The EVOMSit Cayenne TT '03-'05 4.5L 542HP/554TQ Performance Tune Tiptronic also looks interesting. It says it requires cat bypass and Vflow intake. I have ordered the leistung cat bypass pipes, but not really interested in doing an intake as I don't want any extra intake noise on this car. I would guess that not doing the intake would make very little difference??? I find it interesting that there are quite a few tunes available, but very little comparison info. I am looking for the biggest bang from 50 to 90-100mph and good drivability. Most who have posted their experiences have seem pleased with whatever choice they made. One of the reasons I bought this SUV, is that it already has great performance and does not need reinventing the wheel. I have been down that route and though it has been educational and fun, the results are never as good as something that was designed for the purpose. I consider things like cat bypass, conservative flashes, intake, exhaust ect to be more like window dressing on an already good platform. So after that ramble any advice or opinions?
You should contact Alex Ross from Sharkwerks.. for evomsit tune.. he did my ex-04 CTT the tuned HP was 423AWHP using mustang dyno, but right now i'm leaning towards the evomsit tune.. they've been doing this for awhile now with evoms, highly recommended.
my current CTTS will be tuned by Sharkwerks using evomsit.. i'm expecting 600+ with bypass..same with you I only wanted the bypass pipes and tune..

I have been reading quite a bit on this and yours did impress me. I am not trying to make a fire breathing dragon and 423 AWHP would be great. How was the drivability? Also, are all evomsit tunes equal? As in would another shop that does evom products be able to replicate yours, or was a little artwork done for your tune by sharkwerks?
im scratching my head on a tune. I am trying to figure out what kind of tune I would need?
I have the following done... Evoms VFlow Intakes, AP Diverter Valves, Replaced Main Cats with 200 Cell, 2nd Bypass Pipes, Fabspeed Exhaust system.

Giac/evomsit-sharkwerks are the ones doing it the longest..
depends on your mods, they can create a custom tune file for you..
Evoms and Sharkwerks works closer together they have tuned stg1 to gt800 cayennes... what I'm trying to say is they have done quite a bit..
I wont go anywhere else.. they tuned my CaymanS,996turbo, cayenne turbo
I did however had a good experience with Softronic, I used their tune for my
05 997S.. being an NA car i really felt the difference, although i didnt have it dynoed..

btw my 423whp tune is with giac done by sharkwerks in 2005.. was happy with the results...no issues.. but the evomsit tune i drove on an 06 turbo was smoother power on throttle and street driving.. not sure if there are changes with giac since then...
