Hey my check engine light came on today. I have 7,000 miles and my only mod is the fabspeed bypass pipes. Are the pipes causing this? I put the pipes in at about 2,000 miles and until now nothing had happened

 

might be the coil that cause the cylinder miss firing. known issue form the dealer. that's a possibility.

Dont know if this helps. But a while back some member had the same problem and if I recall correctly he had the fabspeed bypass pipes.

 

What do you guys think I should do, should I take my car to the dealer with the pipes or do you think they will void the warrenty because of them. My dealer is champion motors, they are really good about mods.

 

they will not void the warranty because you have the pipes

 

The check engine light on my 04 S has come on twice (with no mods). The first time (after about 10k miles) they reset it without determining the cause. The second time (about 5k miles later) they replaced the fuel cap. Now I'm at about 20k and no check engine light (yet).
