Tubi-fied the CTTS
Finally had a litte time to pull this together. After months and months of searching, I finally came across a guy selling a used Tubi exhaust for the Cayenne Turbo. Saved a small fortune buying a used one, but it arrived in pretty filty condition:

It took some metal polish and lots of elbow grease to clean it up before the install:

I found a really cheap spare set of factory turbo tips on the internet so I wouldn't have to disassemble the factory exhaust assembly at all. Here are shot of the poor condition they arrived in and what they looked like after investing more polish and time cleaning them up:

I used four telescoping jack stands, making removal an easy one-man job. Believe it or not, there literally are only four exhaust hanging brackets holding the entire rear exhaust assembly onto the chassis. Here's the entire factory assembly as removed:

A salvage yard sold me a factory turbo front pipe section that they agreed to cut off about 8" in front of the rear muffler. It would have been cheaper to just hack my factory exhaust, but I really wanted to preserve it as an original assembly in case I ever wanted to reinstall it. The most time consuming part of the install was to cut the front pipe section to the correct length to mate up with the Tubi extension pipes that mount in front of the muffler. I cleaned them up and here's a shot of the Tubi pipes leading into the muffler:

Here's a shot of the Tubi mounted on the vehicle, with the cleaned up tips clamped in position:

The sound of the exhaust is just what I was hoping for. Very deep and aggressive without being obnoxious or creating cabin resonance. I'm also running bypass pipes, so all I can say is it now sounds the way this amazing vehicle ought to.
Next project will be to capture some videos with sound.
