I just replaced my PCM with an aftermarket head unit and now I need to figure out where to set the GPS antenna. (Right now, it is temporarily inside the PCM cavity behind the head unit.) Antenna lead is something like 10 feet, so I have room to put it anywhere.

Has anyone else done this? If so, where did you thread the GPS antenna? Dash, trunk, rear spoiler, rear hatch? Anyone do this?

 

Under the center grill on the dash usually works.. it's open to the world through the windshield. Note - that if you have a "heated" windshield (coated with a metallic coating that's used to heat it) - it won't work there.
