I do not believe my steering column can lock either, I am not sure if it is broken but it has never locked since I have owned the car and also steering colum sounds crunchy. Was going to address that after I head the motor turn over. The other codes would only show up yesterday when the locksmith was jumping fuses. Were you able to bypass the broken steering lock? Feel free to email me direct biz@swqity.com

This is how I was resetting my Steering fault, so that I could drive it the next morning, since it would trigger as soon as I removed the key (steering lock couldn't lock). I could reset it without the key in the ignitioin, by pressing the brake pedal and then connecting durametric.

Alternatively, did you try resetting it with the key in the ignition, and then without removing the key, then have the lock smith try to reprogram.

With all of your other faults though... it seems like you still have a canbus problem similar to what happens when the wiring is corroded and cross-talking. How did you splice your wires? How many splices? And how did you remove the corrosion? And how did you re-wrap the wires?

I used Durametric and a $56 Win 10 Nuvision tablet for a while to clear the Alarm 0288 Steering Faulty code for a few months... And then recently I replaced the 2 relays on the steering lock circuit board, and that seems to have fixed it.
I also re-greased the steering lock mechanism, the old white grease was dried up and sticky! Probably what killed the relays that activate and reverse the locking motor. My steering lock is much quieter now!

See this thread for details.
