Anyone know the factory window tint numbers on the cayenne? I want to get the fronts done so that it blends with the rear windows, etc.

Im positive it's lighter than most SUVs (which are 20%), but may be darker than 35%? Not sure though. Anyone know what would be best to match?

I did 35% and that was the closest match..

 

Besides, not sure about NY/NJ but in MA anyhthing darker than 35% is illegal and you'll get a ticket and have to take the tint off too!!!
If you google NY/NJ legal tint limit you'll probably find out how much they are

 

I dont really care about those silly laws. I dont think cops here in NJ will go out of their way to pull over an SUV with tinted windows. Who knows?

I have the TT at 15%, but it's insured/reg in MD, so no front plate and no emmissions!

 

MA requires a front plate but.... check my sig

 

I'm gonna take away mine!!!! but they drilled holes on it already T.T, anyway I got my windows tinted too from Sound-In-Motion, they did a great job ^^

 

As long as you carry the license plate with you inside the car, you should be fine. Worst case scenario in MA is a $50 fine.
